Acetochlor is a selective pre-bud herbicide, which is absorbed by monocotyledonous plants through the bud sheath and by dicotyledonous plants through hypocotyl absorption and conduction. The active ingredient interferes with nucleic acid metabolism and protein synthesis in plants, stopping the growth of buds and young roots. If the field moisture is suitable, the buds are killed before they are unearthed. This product can effectively control the annual weeds of summer maize.
