A very important part of our work is to do OEM for customers.
Many customers will send us their original packaging and ask for an ”exact copy”.
Today I met a customer who sent us the aluminum foil bag and carton of acetamiprid he made before.
We carried out a one-to-one restoration according to his aluminum foil bag, not only the size of the bag is consistent, but also the color of the bag is guaranteed to be consistent. Customers are happy.
But before producing the box, our factory realized that the size of his box is much larger than the box size of the same specification we produced before. In order to avoid errors, we decided to wait for the bag to be produced, and then we will carry out a trial assembly to determine the final box size.
Sure enough, after the bag was put in, 5 cm above the box was still empty. In this case, if the customer’s box size is still produced, the boxes will definitely be damaged when stacked.
So we negotiated with the customer and suggested that the customer reduce the box by 5 cm. But the client insisted on doing exactly the same as before.
So we found a way to install a partition in the middle of the box. Although it can’t completely follow the customer’s size, it can reduce the free height from 5 cm to 3 cm.
After negotiating with the client, the client happily agreed.
When choosing a supplier, don’t just look at the price. Under the premise of quality assurance, we must pay more attention to the ”ability to solve problems”. Because there will be many unexpected problems in the cooperation.
